‘Forgiveness, discipline, perseverance and fresh air’, that’s how you could describe bootcamp. This training method is an outdoor training that works on your endurance, strength, figure and flexibility. Bootcamp came over from the American army and is now a trend in the Netherlands.

An important difference with these sources is that the techniques derived from them are separate from all the rules, principles and traditions that are often still characteristic. That MMA matches have no rules to protect the fighters is a misconception. However, these rules differ per organization.
